In February, 2003 Michael
Kaplan of UNLIMITED Magazine visited
the Academy of Professional Umpiring's 2003 school in Kissimmee,
Florida. His 6-page story was recently published in the magazine's
summer edition.
The magazine's photographer, Charlie Samuels
stated that when he was assigned to shoot the pictures for the
story "I wasn't expecting much, but it turned out to be
one of the best assignements of my life."
